Adaptive re-use of an existing heritage building for professional dancers and performances. This started with the demolition of existing parts of the heritage building and the construction of gymnasium, performing and dance studio’s. Works included specialised dancing surfaces, high level acoustic performance of building fabric to ensure noise separation from adjoining buildings, acoustic walls and baffling, stage curtains to performance areas, lift, signage, box office type windows, lighting and controls, communications & audio visual services and plant rooms.
