Four floors of heritage refurbished administration areas, kitchen and sleeping quarters, and an upgrade of engine bays and external facade. Works included all services, such as electrical, hydraulics, HVAC, fire, remedial brick repairs, replacement of timber floors with new concrete floors, fire treatments, and timber window refurbishment.

Because of the CBD location and logistical challenges of maintaining access and egress for fire-fighting appliances (trucks, etc), extensive traffic management planning and materials handling management was required.
