The Transgrid Project in Yass involved refurbishing and extending an existing Administration Facility which serves the region’s power requirements.

The existing building was completely stripped of all existing linings, fixtures and fittings, leaving only a bare carcass to which we added North and South wings of significant proportions.

The architecturally designed structure features prominent steel outriggers and brick columns, along with modern metal and stone claddings. All materials were selected for durability as well as functionality. The interior also includes thermally broken glazing suites, acoustic lined walls and a full fitout with workstations and decorative joinery panels. Electrical and data points feature throughout. These also cater for training and conference facilities in selected rooms.
